Dr. Elizabeth Woolsey-Herbert

As the daughter of a California equine veterinarian, Elizabeth (Boo to her friends) grew up in the business. She learned to ride on ponies that her father acquired over the years for non-payment. That gave her the glue-legs that kept her relatively unharmed during her brief jumping career. She graduated from UC Davis in physiology then did an MS (this time veterinary physiology) and received her D.V.M. at her favourite university, Auburn. War Eagle.
She began practice in her dad’s equine clinic, and then went out on her own before moving to Australia, where she again started her own equine clinic now known as Adelaide Plains Equine Clinic.
She lives with an array or animals including her favourite Lochy the Wonder Horse, her step-son Duncan an air force pilot when he is in Adelaide and hungry, and her daughter Shelley.  
 She is a published author: Horse Doctor An American Vets Life Down Under and she is currently in the process of publishing her second book which is a compilation of Inspiring Teacher Stories.  The second in the Horse Doctor Series is about half written and she encourages you to remind her of events that might be  “book worthy”.
Dr. Alison Cuddy
Dr. Alison Cuddy started work at the practice in July 2007 after working in NSW for 6 months. Originally from North Carolina, USA, Alison has been in Australia since October 2006. Alison is a graduate of North Carolina State University and completed an internship in Equine Medicine and Surgery at the University of Missouri. Her main interests include equine reproduction and internal medicine. Alison has had horses all of her life and has two Thoroughbreds waiting for her at home in North Carolina! She has started back riding and is hoping to get into the show ring or hunt field soon! While not working with horses, Alison loves to travel, snow ski, and read celebrity gossip magazines!!
Sandy Cheyne
Sandy Cheyne Brown is our longest serving employee. She is our veterinary nurse and is often in the office when you call in the morning. Sandy’s interests outside of work include rodeos, her husband Andrew, a qualified farrier and calf roper extraordinaire, and her daughter Katie Jane rodeo chick in the making. Sandy’s skills with handling rough horses and keeping the vets safe have her in a “can’t be fired” position.
Jamey Foster
Jamey Foster is our all around jack of all trades. His welding, horse handling and paving skills make him the perfect employee. He can also do the office work and is very funny. He rides gallopers in the morning and is clerk of the course on Wednesdays and Saturdays for the SAJC. The best part about him is that he watches his weight and we don’t have to feed him too much. He built our horse shelters that the horses actually use in bad weather, so ask him and he might do one for you. He is also a farrier, and breaks in horses for racing and general riding.
Allison Holman
Allison Holman was born in California (USA) and raised in the quarter horse and Arabian horse industries. Navigating through a successful youth show career, competing in hunter/jumper, Dressage, western disciplines she gained expert knowledge that few are fortunate enough to experience.
Fore seven years Allison managed a predominant Arabian breeding and training facility in California where she had the privilege of training and showing horses of the worlds leading bloodlines such as Bey Shah, Simeon, and Padron among others.
In 2004 Allison co-founded an Arabian horse marketing and breeding business where she garnished $100,000 (us) in sales for clients within the first year of business. After graduating from California State University Chico with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business and studying animal science she moved to south Australia to travel and continue working in equine fields and has found a roll among the qualified staff at APEC.
J. Lo
J. Lo, short for our minister of education, Jane Lomax Smith, is our sex therapist and chief stallion "educator." She is the perfect employee.
